DiAnn,
What a helpful list of books. Thank you. I love Stein on Writing by Sol Stein. He was a master storyteller and I had the privilege of sitting in a session he gave years ago on dialogue. Stein passed away a few years ago.

Thanks, Terry – I’m a big fan of Sol Stein’s How to Grow a Novel. Lots of valuable tips there.
I just posted my friend’s faves on my blog yesterday. I love the Thesaurus books. They are wonderful. And Self-editing for fiction writers is at the top of my list. I would add Writing Deep Point of View by Kathy Tyers to your list. Explains Deep POV clearly and concisely. Right now I’m enjoying The First Pages of Best Selling Authors by C.S.Larkin. Her books are very helpful
