One of my favorite times of year is May.
Why? Because of Blue Ridge!
There’s something so special about the conference, the people, the teaching and the worship.
And for me, one of the great parts is meeting YOU.
As the conference photographer, I think I have the best job there. I get to work with so many of you and create beautiful headshots. Your stories and your ministries bless me. I’m always touched by my clients. Plus, I get to make you look your best!
For those of you who may not know me, I’ve been shooting headshots at Blue Ridge for about 5 years now.
What is my goal for you?
To help you relax in front of the camera and give you the best experience and headshots I can. I will take time to get to know you and what you want to convey in your shot.
This is so important because your headshot is often the first time people connect with you on social media.
If the shot is just a crop from another photo, grainy, out of focus, or too cluttered, it can convey unprofessionalism. If you look stressed or stern in the picture, you won’t seem approachable. I get that, both as a photographer and fellow writer. Also, it’s best if you have consistent photos across your platforms.
It’s my job to help you relax, feel comfortable and confident.
So, what will I be offering at Blue Ridge this year?
Package 1: $50, you will get 2 headshots delivered digitally.
Package 2: $100, you will get 6-8 photos, which can include full body shots. Also delivered digitally.
I will also give you the option of outdoor natural-lighting, or indoor studio-lighting. The indoor studio lighting can be on a white, gray or black background.
For package 1, choose either indoor or outdoor.
For package 2, you can combine indoor and outdoor.
If you aren’t sure which package you need, or whether or not you want indoor or outdoor shots, we can discuss that at the time of your shoot.
Next week, I’ll post more details on how to prepare for your headshot session.
So, if you don’t have headshots you like, or if you are nervous to have your picture taken, I’d love to help you with that.
My goal is to capture what God is doing in your heart through your eyes and face.
I’m looking forward to meeting you!

I would love to get with you to get a head shot session. I have looked at the conference website and can’t seem to find out how to go about that. Do I get the appt there or make it now?
Thank you!

Dreama, you’ll sign up for headshots at the same time you sign up for faculty appointments – Sunday evening after the main group. There’s another blog post up today on the site with more tips, be sure to check it out! Blessings, E
