A word from Karen Porter,
I want to personally coach you!
In our Speakers Lab Continuing Class, we will work together:
- To build your presentation.
- To add stories, humor, and power
- To be your best on stage
- And as a bonus, we will learn how to market your speaking career, get gigs, and make the most of your book table.
And 15 lucky participants will be able to present their message to the class and receive personal coaching on the presentation (a $500 value).
There is nothing quite so wonderful as seeing a person who thinks he or she is not a speaker discover and develop the skills to stand before an audience with a new ability to captivate them with wit, charm, and power.
S
You may think you are a writer, not a speaker. But if you are writing, you should be speaking because writing and speaking go together like a hand in a glove. If you are a writer, you must speak to connect with audiences and promote and market your book – and build your platform.
To apply for one of these 15 spots, please email Karen at kaeporter@gmail.com. You will receive an application and if chosen, you will receive instructions on how to prepare your presentation. The deadline is April 25, 2018.
Don’t want to speak to the group? Come to the Speaker Lab anyway! You will learn how to do it by watching others get coached.
This stuff is powerful. The techniques you learn about speaking will enhance and transform your writing.
I have coached thousands of speakers around the globe. My coaching style is straight-forward and practical with wisdom and humor. We will learn more than you imagined and have fun!

The Conversation
Karen Porter’s classes at the BRMCWC were outstanding. A veteran teacher of writing and public speaking, I found Kae’s presentations to be engaging and transforming not just for me, but for others in the classes. I do hope you will invite her back in 2024. I myself would take her classes again because they are so rich.
